Scholarship Presentation – 2nd Annual

The Bridge Academy
The Board of Directors of Adversity to Prosperity has selected five outstanding candidates to receive scholarship awards for the 2018-2019 school year. The ceremony was held in a Bridge Academy classroom, which was quite fitting! We want to give huge thank you to the speakers Dr. Damon Lewis, who is a principal in Norwalk public schools who awarded the John Lewis scholarship in honor of his late father – Head Coach John Lewis and also Phillip Elliott, a retired fireman & registered nurse who awarded the Tony Elliott scholarship in honor of his late brother who broke records at Harding High School and went on to play for the New Orleans Saints. Also, thank you to our keynote speaker Head Football & Wrestling Coach and A2P Director of Athletic of Operations, Eddie Santiago for the encouraging words to our youth! Thank you again to The Bridge Academy for opening their doors for this event and a huge thank you to the donors for your support! Without you, this would not be possible.
